My first theroy was this one, but it took five years to find real proof. To start off, a feature of personality called hidden personality could explain this. To cross between worlds, chipwrecked provides my example. Simon became Simone through a neurotoxin that appears to mainly effect inhibition. Where I am going is this, it may not have been a personality change, but rather a loss of inhibitions put there to protect himself. This would mean Simone is simply Simon's old one. When we look at the personalitys of Alvin and Theodore, we end up with two possible birth orders, one I already gave previously. The other is that they are triplets. Assuming the first, one chipmunk would be missing as it is always two to five born at once.

These would make excellent posters.

While looking over some notes, I noticed an intresting feature of personality in the 2015 series.

It's most likely smart to start with some background into my notes. A few months ago I looked at their traits as can be caused by birth order. Basicly, I had a few lists of traits typicaly found in those who are the oldest, middle, or youngest child, respectfully.

What I found is as follows: Alvin and Theodoore both have the same single of four traits on the oldest, Alvin all traits for middle, Theodoore one of five for middle, Alvin one of five for youngest, and Theodoore four of five for youngest. I feel it is safe to asume that because Alvin is ENFP, he is Theodoore's twin, but over time built up the most middle traits. One thing to note is that Simon has all four oldest traits but no others. I feel this would mean he was born earlier. That is another topic, though.

In the 2015 series, I remember a few scenes that suggest he is depressed. First, he built a machine with the capipility of sending the earth into a void. Second, he built a particle accelator. Although in science fiction the capabilitys vary, it usually results in discoverys. In my experience with depression, I always envisioned recognition as the answer. Other scenes exist, but better evidence could be personality.

If i remember correctly, Simon is mbti type intj. From people i have met, this seems to be the most likely for having depresion. Finnaly, Simon displays the traits of the oldest. Commenly under stress, the oldest can easily develop deppresion. The oldest may, in some cases, may turn to a stress reliever that causes depresion. I would like to know if anyone else supports this.

Has anyone looked into the personality of the chipmunks throughout the series? I remember using MBTI on them, but I was wondering what results others have come up with.
